Nancy Dickey, MD, has had an illustrious career as a family physician, educator, wife and mother, president emeritus of the Texas A & M Health Science Center, and first woman to become the president of the American Medical Association. She is a groundbreaking leader with a passion for teaching and policy. Currently, Dr. Dickey is the executive director of the A & M Rural & Community Health Institute where she works to translate policy into practice. She is a professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management at Texas A&M. Join us for an informal discussion with a delightful pioneer for women in medicine.
