- Started and expanded SE TN Project Access to provide a healthcare lifeline to our low-income, uninsured neighbors.
- Implemented the Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine and Future Docs programs to lead outstanding students to careers in medicine;
- Provide life-saving educational and counseling resources to physicians through our LifeBridge Physician Wellness initiative;
- Grew the Medical Society to more than 1,300 members with the largest percentage of dues-paying members in the state;
- Developed a strong legislative presence in Nashville through our Day on the Hill, Legislative dinners, and regular communication;
- Helped create the statewide TN Project Access Network, which now provides health care resources in the majority of TN counties;
- Worked with county Health Councils throughout our region to improve access to care;
- Served on the Regional Health Council for 30 years and helped lead numerous community health initiatives.
